Thanks to the University’s Office 365 licensing agreement, current WVU faculty, staff, and students are entitled to download Microsoft Office for their personally-owned computers. The system uses Master IDs to verify status, so county-paid employees who have WVU Master IDs should be able to take advantage of this perk as well.
Under this license, Office software can be installed on five computers and five mobile devices. It also gives users access to the new Outlook for Mac. Upon leaving WVU, the software will cease to function when your Master ID is disabled and it will be necessary to purchase a license to continue using it.
